Change

Our little family did not vote for Obama. We think that we'd like him as a person, but disagree wholehearedly with his ideology. And that's what great about America, we don't have to agree. Which is a very good thing.

But, we do agree that we like a number of changes in the overall national view:

1. Ella Kate, who is half latina, will never wonder if a minority can be president.
2. A woman was part of a major ticket, with an actual chance to win.
3. We will once again have small children in the White House. I cannot wait to see photos of the girls playing with their new puppy in the rose garden. That's what life is about.
4. Obama's charisma will be refreshing, and something we've seriously lacked the last 8 years.
